NIFT 2019 Applications Started
2018-10-22National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) commences 2019 admission process. The applications are now available online.
NIFT offers 2 programs:
4 Year Bachelor of Design across 16 campuses and offers 2369 seats.
Offered specializations: Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design
4 Year Bachelor of Fashion Technology across 12 caampuses and offers 425 seats.
Offered specialization: Apparel Production
Students from any stream (Science-Med/Non-Med, Commerce or Humanities) can apply for B.Des program.
Students with PCM can apply for B.F.Tech program.
Admission criteria for non-NRI category candidates shall be via an entrance exam conducted across 32 cities in India.
Admission criteria for Foreign Nationals/ SAARC/NRIs category candidates will be based on their SAT scores, and not on the basis of the Entrance examination.
The date of entrance exam for both B.Des & B.F.Tech is 20th January 2019.
And the last date to apply is 28th December 2018 for the non-NRI candidates (Entrance exam mode).
For NRI/Foreign Nationals/SAARC candidates, the last date to apply is 30th April, 2019.
