One time Exemption from NEET for MBBS admission abroad

The Medical Council of Indian, alongwith Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India, has granted one time exemption from requirement of appearing in NEET in respect of citizens who had not registered for NEET 2018 and desired to take admission in MBBS or equivalent medical course in a medical university outside India in the academic year 2018-19. This is subject to the following conditions :

1. They shall furnish and undertaking that they had not registered / appeared for NEET 2018.

2. They shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Medical Council prior to admission / joining the foreign medical institutes.

3. The Council may at its discretion verify from CBSE whether such undertaking is genuine or not. In case the undertaking is found to be fake / false / forged, appropriate action as permissible in law, including cancellation of Eligibility Certificate would be taken against such candidates.

The above decision is applicable for all similarly placed candidates.
