These courses are offered at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology (SMI), Bengaluru.
From 2020 onwards, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), a Deemed to be University has been admitting students to the newly formed "Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology". This new institute shall be part of MAHE’s off-campus (branch campus) at Bengaluru. MAHE is an institution recognized as Institute of Eminence by the Government of India and is commonly referred to as Manipal University.
The origin of Srishti: It was founded in 1996 by the Ujwal Trust in Bengaluru with the objective of providing art and design education in an environment of creativity to maximize the individual’s potential.
Selection process: There are 3 selection rounds, comprising of following steps:
SMEAT (Srishti Manipal Entrance and Aptitude Test)
Merit List based on SMEAT Tests score
Provisional Admission Notice to shortlisted candidates
Note: An applicant can apply for only ONE Round in a given academic year. An applicant can apply for more than one course or program of study at a given level in a Round.
UCEED / SAT exemption: Applicants having Rank 600 or below in UCEED 2023 are exempt from Test 1 provided they are able to submit their result at the time of admission.
Applicants who have taken SAT between Mar 2021 and Jun 2023 and whose composite score is 1100 or above are exempt from Test 1 provided they are able to submit their result at the time of admission.
