Course Offered : 3 Year BA (Sports & Performance)
Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior was established by the Ministry of Education & Culture, Government of India in 1957. The Institute was given the status of National Importance. In 1995 it was conferred the status of Deemed University in 1995.
The North East Regional Centre (NERC) of LNIPE is located in Guwahati.
Course delivery
This is an Open & Distance Learning course only for elite sportspersons, offered only at Gwalior as study centre.
Classes will be conducted online. It includes recorded auto-graded and peer-reviewed assignments, video lectures, and community discussion forums.
Students will receive a shareable electronic course material.
Continuous assessment – Theory & Practical (Field Work/Live Project/Case Studies).
Final Examination – Final Examination will be conducted at the end of each semester online.
Admission procedure : Admission will be provided to the candidates who have represented India in competitions mentioned in “Eligibility” section. The candidate must submit Sports Achievement / Participation Certificate of the same.
Fees : Rs.28,040/- (total for Sem I and II)
