CUCET is conducted for the students of 10+2, Bachelor Degree holders and Master Degree holders to obtain admission into the UG / Integrated Program / B.Voc., Post Graduate Program and the Research Program respectively in these Universities.
Central University of Kerala : The Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, came into being in 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009 (Parliament Act No. 25 of 2009). The permanent campus of the University (Tejaswini Hills) is located at Periye, Kasaragod on the 310 acres of land allocated by the Govt. of Kerala in 2012. The University shifted its Administrative wing along with the Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, International Relations and Politics, MSW and Economics and a portion of the library into the two semi-permanent uni-floor buildings constructed on the permanent campus in 2014. The remaining Departments are currently functioning on two transit campuses – the Riverside campus at Padannakkad and the Vidyangar campus. The University also opened two Centres, the Capital Centre at Thiruvananthapuram and the Law Campus at Thiruvalla.

Admission / Counseling : Admissions are handled at the level of each of these Central Universities and BASE, for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUCET results, the respective Central Universities and BASE will declare the counselling/admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage of CUCET score and the other criteria of PUs. Please see the website of the concerned University and BASE for details. There will be online admission counselling for some Universities with additional fees.
Note : Applicants can apply for a particular programme for a maximum of three Participating Universities (Pus) with a maximum of 03 options of programmes in each of the selected PU. In case a candidate wishes to opt for more PUs with additional (extra) programme(s), he/she can opt for “Add-On” option by paying additional prescribed fee again.
