Here is how to get into Top-100 NIRF ranked Engineering Colleges
2017-07-01Want to get into the top-10 NIRF ranked engineering colleges? Here's MyExamPlan's analysis of how to get into these institutes:
- 8 of the top-10 engineering colleges are IITs and therefore, you'll have to crack the JEE-Adv to get admitted here.
- Jadavpur University is the only entity that figures in the top-10 and doesn't need JEE-Adv score. It uses the ranklist from WBJEE
- Anna University, Chennai is ranked 8th and admissions are purely on the basis of Class-12 merit. Sorry folks, only 50 seats are available for Other State students into the University colleges.
- 17 institutes among the top-100 admit students through JEE-Adv rank
- 33 institutes among the top-100 admit students through JEE-Mains
- 17 institutes among the top-100 admit students on the basis of Class-12 marks
