However, what many of you woudn't realize is the availability of fascinating professional and special courses in Delhi University via Entrance Exams and these programs are open to all candidates across India. Being a Central University, it does not have any domicile requirements. Of course, reservations as per central government rules are applicable. The entrance exams are usually held in the cities of Delhi, Bangaluru, Kolkata, Jammu, Varanasi and Nagpur.

B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)

The above three programs are offered through 18 colleges under D-elhi University and have 910 seats between them.
Admission is through an entrance test - DU-JAT (Joint Admission Test)
Eligibility: Atleast 60% (class XII) in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.

Humanities & Social Sciences programs

B.A. Honours (Humanities & Social Sciences)
This course presents an opportunity to the student to design his/her own degree. Allows students to gain competence in core areas such as "Art of Communication", "Innovation Management", "Cultural Diversity in India" and "Legal Literacy", "Journalism", "Historical Tourism", "Counselling" and "Art and Design". This would equip them to choose appropriate professions for themselves.
Admission is through an entrance test - HSS - Delhi Univ 
Eligibility: Atleast 60% (class XII) in four subjects.

Bachelor in Elemenraty Education (B.El.Ed)
Four - year integrated professional degree programme of Elementary Teacher Education offered after the senior secondary (class XII) stage of school.
The above three programs are offered through 8 colleges under Delhi University and have 400 seats between them.
Admission is through an entrance test - DU-ElementaryEducation
Eligibility: Atleast 50% in Class XII
Seats: 400 

B.A (H) Multi Media and Mass Communication (MMMC) (Only for women candidates)
Offered by Indraprastha College for Women, the oldest women's college in Delhi, the course is considered one of the best media courses in the country. 
Admission is through an entrance test - DU-MMC
Eligibility: 75% aggregate of best four including 85% in English
Seats: 52
